When I was asked to join my longtime friends' band "Salem", I was ecstatic! Rich Harris was one of my very best friends in this life, and a veteran supporter of my guitar adventures all over (He unfortunately passed away in April of 2001). His band was doing well, but, they wanted a more 'melodic' addition to their sound, so I joined without hesitation. We rehearsed our butts off, and released 1 demo tape, and performed 1 O.C. warehouse gig. Salem broke up shortly thereafter, for numerous unfortunate reasons, and later went on to become a fusion of the 2 bands "Tyranny" & "Salem", resulting in "Turkey Neck". Rich Harris and I wrote many songs together, including the titles "Bury Me In Belgium" & "Friends Of Misery".
